Major Stephen Sammons, CAP
Director of Emergency Services
The Wing Director of Emergency Services is responsible for overseeing all emergency services operations throughout the Wing.

Deputy Director

The Wing Deputy Director of Emergency Services is responsible for overseeing the directorate in the absence of the director.

Capt Adam Bowens, CAP
Search And Rescue Officer (SARO)
The SARO is responsible for the development of search and rescue policies and SAR support plans. Capt Bowens is a CAP Senior Incident Commander, Mission Observer, and instrument pilot.  He is an Air Force veteran, certificated firefighter, and wilderness EMT Trainer.  He currently serves on the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson fire department.

Capt Bryan Emerson, CAP
Emergency Services Training 
The The ESTO oversees wing-level training and exercises and supports local units as needed.  In addition to his duties as ESTO, Bryan serves as the ES Liaison with the Alaska Search and Rescue Association (ASARA) and coordinating joint activities and SAR support plans. Capt Emerson is a SAR/DR mission pilot and professional risk manager with extensive experience in emergency management planning in the private and government sectors.

Lt Mike Alexander, CAP
Disaster Relief Officer
Senior Member Mike Alexander is the Alaska Wing's Disaster Relief Officer.  The Wing Disaster Relief Officer oversees disaster preparedness and response supporting all levels wing and external customers. He coordinates with the Department of Public Safety, Alaska State Troopers, and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) to facilitate support for statewide response to natural disasters and non-RCC directed Defense Support to Civilian Authorities (DSCA) missions. SM Alexander is a commissioned Alaska State Trooper and serves in the Alaska Air National Guard as a maintenance analyst supporting operations analysis for the 176th Maintenance Group's C-17s and C-130s.
