PAC-07-A-016-S 03 MAR 07 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Willow area. Birchwood CAP (BCV CAP) was tasked and responded with a search aircraft which located the ELT at the Palmer airport. The owners were contacted and the ELT silenced. The BCV CAP flew one sortie for 2.9 hours. No credits were awarded.

PAC-07-A-017-S 08 MAR 07 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Palmer area. Birchwood (BCV) CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team, however they were unable to pick up any ELT signals. The ELT subsequently ceased transmissions. The BCV ground team searched for 1.0 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.

PAC-07-A-021-A 15 MAR 07 (ASSIST) HOMER CAP
Mission opened in response to a request for assistance from USCG D17 (JNU RCC) to locate the source of flares sighted in the homer spit area. Homer CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft; however they were unable to locate the source of the flares. JNU RCC no longer required assistance and the mission was closed. Homer CAP flew one sortie for 1.3 hours. No credits awarded.

PAC-07-A-025-S 29 MAR 07 (SAR) FAIRBANKS CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT and aircraft reports of an ELT in the Fairbanks (FAI) area. FAI CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which successfully located the non-distress ELT in a parked DC-6 at the FAI international airport, and secured it. The FAI CAP ground team searched for 1.7 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
