PAC-07-A-081-S 02 JUL 07 (SAR) ANCHORAGE CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in anchorage (ANC). ANC CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located and secured the non-distress ELT in a parked aircraft at Lake Hood airstrip. The ANC CAP ground team searched for 1.0 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-082-S 03 JUL 07 (SAR) FAIRBANKS CAP
Mission opened in response to aircraft and SARSAT reports of an ELT near Fairbanks (FAI) International Airport. FAI CAP was tasked and responded with flight and ground search teams which localized the non-distress ELT to the Chena Marina Airfield, however the ELT ceased prior to the source being discovered. FAI CAP flew one sortie for 1.4 hours and their ground team searched for 1.0 hours claiming no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-083-S 05 JUL 07 (SAR) ANCHORAGE CAP
Mission opened in response to aircraft and SARSAT reports of an ELT in Anchorage (ANC). ANC CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located the non-distress ELT in a moored floatplane on Campbell Lake and secured it. The ANC CAP ground team searched for 0.5 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-085-S 06 JUL 07 (SAR) FAIRBANKS CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Fairbanks (FAI) area. FAI CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located and secured the non-distress ELT, in a moored floatplane near the FAI International Airport. The FAI CAP ground team searched for 1.4 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-086-S 08 JUL 07 (SAR) KENAI CAP
Mission opened in response to multiple aircraft reports of an aircraft wreck on the shoreline of Iniskin Bay, approximately 85 miles southwest of Kenai (ENA). ENA CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft which located the mostly submerged wreckage and determined there is no ongoing distress situation. The position and color of the wreckage corresponded with reports of a moored floatplane which had become swamped and lost in rough seas approximately two weeks prior. ENA CAP flew one sortie for 2.7 hours. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-087-S 09 JUL 07 (SAR) ANCHORAGE CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in Anchorage (ANC). ANC CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located the non-distress ELT in a parked aircraft, and secured it with the assistance of the Anchorage Police Department. The ANC CAP ground team searched for 1.0 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-088-S 13 JUL 07 (SAR) ANCHORAGE CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in Anchorage (ANC). ANC CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located the non-distress ELT in a shed at an ANC residence. The ELT was secured by the CAP search team and ELT owner. The ANC CAP ground team searched for 9.0 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-089-S 14 JUL 07 (SAR) KENAI CAP
Mission opened in response to a SARSAT report of an ELT in the Kenai (ENA) area. ENA CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located and secured the non-distress ELT in a parked car in the cannery heights subdivision. The ENA CAP ground team searched for 1.5 hours and claimed $25.00 for expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-091-S 17 JUL 07 (SAR) KENAI CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT located in the Kenai (ENA) area. ENA CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft which was able to localize the ELT signal to the Soldotna area. ENA CAP then responded with a ground search team which could not locate the source of the signal. The ELT subsequently ceased transmissions and ENA CAP was released. ENA CAP flew one sortie for 0.5 hours, and their ground team searched for 4.0 hours claiming $25.00 for expenses. No credits awarded.

PAC-07-A-095-S 29 JUL 07 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Palmer area. Birchwood (BCV) CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located the non-distress ELT in a parked aircraft at Wolf Lake Airstrip and secured it. The BCV CAP ground team searched for 2.0 hours and claimed $19.87 in expenses. No credits awarded.
PAC-07-A-096-S 30 JUL 07 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened in response to an airborne report of an ELT near the mouth of the Big Susitna River. A Birchwood (BCV) CAP aircraft was airborne on a training flight and diverted to search for the ELT. The BCV CAP aircrew localized the ELT to a group of non-distress floatplanes, however the ELT ceased as they passed overhead. BCV CAP flew one sortie for 0.3 hours. No credits awarded.
