PAC-06-A-209-S 12 NOV 06 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT 15nm north of Chickaloon. The Birchwood CAP (BCV CAP) was tasked and responded with a search aircraft, and later two ground search teams, which located and silenced the non-distress ELT in a hangared PA-12 at Anderson Lake airstrip east of Wasilla. The BCV CAP flew one sortie for 1.5 hours, and their ground teams searched for 2.7 hours and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded.

PAC-06-A-211-S 12 NOV 06 (SAR) BETHEL CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT near Bethel. Bethel (BET) CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team which located the non-distress ELT in an aircraft at the airfield. The ELT had been accidentally set off while the aircraft was undergoing maintenance. The BET CAP ground team searched for 0.6 hours and claimed $30.02 in expenses. No credits awarded.

PAC-06-A-214-S 29 NOV 06 (SAR) ANCHORAGE CAP
Mission opened in response to aircraft and SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Anchorage (ANC) area. ANC CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft however they were unable to locate the source of the ELT signal, which subsequently ceased transmissions. ANC CAP flew one sortie for 1.2 hours. No credits awarded.
