AFTER THREE DAYS OF NEGATIVE SEARCH RESULTS, THE OVERDUE HUNTER WAS SPOTTED BY A CIVILIAN ACFT OVER-FLYING HIS POSITION AND WAS PICKED UP BY THE SAME. THE 210 RQS HH-60 FLEW TWO SORTIES FOR 18.8 HOURS, THE 211 RQS HC-130 FLEW FIVE SORTIES FOR 21.2 HOURS, AND THE 212 RQS PJ’S FLEW ONBOARD BOTH AIRCRAFT. ENA CAP FLEW THREE SORTIES FOR 10.5 HOURS. THE UH-60 CREW LANDED, DETERMINED THAT BOTH OCCUPANTS WERE DECEASED AND TRANSPORTED THE REMAINS TO FAIRBANKS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. FAI CAP FLEW ONE SORTIE FOR 1.0 HOURS.
