PAC-03-A-247-S 01 NOV 03 (SAR) ELMENDORF CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT in the Anchorage area. Elmendorf (EDF) CAP was tasked and responded with ground search teams which located and silenced the non-distress ELT, in an aircraft parked at Merrill Field. The EDF CAP ground teams searched for a total of 8.0 hours claiming $22.00 for expenses. No credits awarded.

PAC-03-A-249-S 04 NOV 03 (SAR) BETHEL CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT 65 nm east of Bethel. Bethel CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft however they were unable to locate the source of the ELT, which subsequently ceased transmissions. Bethel CAP flew one sortie for 2.6 hours. No credits awarded.

PAC-03-A-250-A 08 NOV 03 (ASSIST) KOTZEBUE CAP
Mission opened in response to a request for assistance from the AK State Troopers (AST) in Kotzebue (OTZ), to search for two overdue boaters near OTZ. OTZ CAP was tasked and responded with a search aircraft, which extensively searched the area and aided search boats in locating the overturned boat with one deceased. OTZ CAP continued to search for the missing person with negative results. OTZ AST suspended aerial search efforts, and released OTZ CAP from the mission. OTZ CAP flew 9 sorties for 17.6 hours. One deceased and one missing awarded.

PAC-03-A-255-S 15 NOV 03 (SAR) FAIRBANKS CAP
Mission opened in response to SARSAT reports of an ELT near Fairbanks. Fairbanks CAP was tasked and responded with a ground search team, which located the non-distress ELT in a hangar and secured it. The Fairbanks CAP ground team searched for 1.0 hours, and claimed no expenses. No credits awarded
