Mission opened in response to a request from the Alaska State Troopers to assist in the search for an overdue musher traveling from Caribou Lake Lodge and Lost Lake Lode. He was participating in a dog sled race but did not reach the checkpoint at Lost Lake Lodge. The Kenai and Homer CAP unites were tasked and launched aircraft to assist AST in this search. The overdue musher was located and all assets were recalled. The CAP flew a total of 9 sorties for 15.8 hours. The AST flew 1 sortie for 3.2 hours. 1 SAVE was awarded.

He was snowmachining with another person (both inebriated) when their snowmobile broke down 10-15 miles outside Kotzebue. They began walking back. The other looked back and realized that his friend was no longer with him. He tried to locate his friend but could not find him. The Kotzebue CAP was tasked and launched an aircraft to search. A ground team located the overdue, deceased. The Kotzebue CAP flew 2 sorties for 2.0 hours. No saves or assists were awarded.

Mission opened in response to a composite SARSAT report of an ELT signal south of Galena and a possible corresponding ALNOT issued by Kenai FSS for an overdue aircraft. The pilot was travling form Nome to Birchwood Airstrip. The 210th RQS, 68th MEDDET, and AASF-Nome were tasked and responded with aircraft to search. The Anchorage CAP was tasked and launched a ground team to search. The overdue aircraft was located close to the coordinates of the SARSAT report. The aircraft had crashed but the pilot was safe. The pilot was brought back to Anchorage and the ALNOT was cancelled. The 210 RQS flew 3 sorties for 12.5 hour. AASF-Nome flew 3 sorties for 4.9 hours. The 68th MEDDET flew 1 sortie for 2.2 hours. Anchorage CAP ground team searched for 1.1 hours. 1 SAVE WAS AWARDED
