Mission opened in response to an ALNOT issued by Fairbanks FSS for an overdue aircraft. The overdue pilot was flying from Chena Marina to Lake Minchumina to set trap lines. He was due back on the same day. The Fairbanks CAP was tasked and launched 2 aircraft to search. The overdue pilot returned home the next day without incident. He was never in any distress, it had gotten to late to fly after getting his place stuck in the snow. The Fairbanks CAP flew 3 sorties for 9.3 hours. No saves or assists were awarded.

The Bethel CAP was tasked and launched an aircraft to search. A ground team located the o/d snowmachiner and his broken snowmachine and transported him back to one of the villages. The Bethel CAP flew 3 sorties for 8.1hours. 1 ASSIST WAS AWARDED.
