MSN 001 1 Jan 95 (SAR) KENAI CAP
Mission opened to search for an EPIRB in the Kenai Area. Kenai CAP launched an aircraft and dispatched three ground teams which located and silenced the signal in a boat at Pacific Star Boat Yard. Kenai CAP flew 1 sortie for 1.7 flying hours and the ground crew searched for 11.5 hours and claimed $25 in expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 002 6 Jan 95 (USCG ASSIST) KODIAK CAP
Mission opened when the US Coast Guard (USCG) requested assistance in the search for an EPIRB in the Kodiak area. Kodiak CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a parked boat in the boat harbor. The Kodiak CAP ground crew searched for 2.5 hours and claimed no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 003 7 Jan 95 (USCG ASSIST) HOMER CAP
Mission opened when the US Coast Guard (USCG) requested assistance in the search for an EPIRB in the Homer area. Homer CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a parked boat in the boat harbor. The Homer CAP ground crew searched for 2.5 hour and claimed $10 in expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 004 7 Jan 95 (USCG ASSIST) HOMER CAP
Mission opened when the US Coast Guard (USCG) requested assistance in the search for an EPIRB in the Homer area. Homer CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a parked boat in the boat harbor. The Homer CAP ground crew searched for 3.5 hours and claimed no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 005 9 Jan 95 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Eagle River area. Birchwood CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a private residence. The Birchwood CAP ground searched for 2.0 hours and claimed no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 007 15 Jan 95 (SAR) BETHEL CAP
Mission opened to investigate a possible crashed aircraft 35NM west of Anvik. Bethel CAP launched an aircraft which located an aircraft upside down in the Hawk River. An AST snowmobile team was dispatched to recover the two survivors. Bethel CAP flew 2 sorties for 6.0 flying hours and was awarded TWO ASSISTs for this mission.

MSN 009 16 Jan 95 (SAR) GULKANA CAP
Mission opened when AST requested assistance in the search for two overdue snowmobilers in the Gulkana area. Gulkana CAP was alerted but never launched because the AST located the individuals in a cabin. No sorties of flying hours were utilized for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 010 17 Jan 95 (AST ASSIST) BETHEL CAP
Mission opened when AST requested assistance in the search for three overdue snowmobilers in the Bethel area. Bethel CAP launched an aircraft which located and directed the individuals to a nearby village. Bethel CAP flew 14 sorties for 40.8 flying hours and was awarded THREE SAVES for this mission.

MSN 011 21 Jan 95 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Eagle River area. Birchwood CAP dispatched a ground team which located and silenced the signal in a parked aircraft at Birchwood Airfield. The Birchwood CAP ground team searched for 0.5 hours and is claiming no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 012 24 Jan 95 (AST ASSIST) KOTZEBUE CAP and NOME CAP
Mission opened when AST requested assistance in the search for an overdue snowmobiler in the Nome area. Nome CAP and Kotzebue CAP launched aircraft to conduct the search. During day two of the search, an AST ground team located the missing individual. A total of 7 sorties for 15.2 flying hours were utilized for this mission.

MSN 013 26 Jan 95 (SAR) EIELSON CAP and FAIRBANKS CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Fairbanks area. Fairbanks CAP and Eielson CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a privately owned hangar. The Fairbanks CAP ground crew searched for 3.0 hours and claimed $8 in expenses and the Eielson CAP ground crew searched for 4.5 hours and claimed $26.60 in expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 015 28 Jan 95 (SAR) ARCTURUS CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Girdwood area. Arcturus CAP diverted an aircraft from a training mission which located and silenced the signal in a parked aircraft at Girdwood Airport. Arcturus CAP flew 1 sortie for 2.8 flying hours on this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 017 30 Jan 95 (SAR) NOME CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Nome area. Nome CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal at the Nome Hospital. The Nome CAP ground crew searched for 2.5 hours and claimed no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.

MSN 019 30 Jan 95 (AST ASSIST) BETHEL CAP
Mission opened when AST requested assistance in the search for two overdue snowmobilers traveling from Mt. Village to Scammon Bay. Bethel CAP launched an aircraft which located the two individuals. AST recovered and transported the snowmobilers back to Bethel. Bethel CAP flew 3 sorties for 12.2 flying hours and was awarded TWO SAVES for this mission.

MSN 020 31 Jan 95 (SAR) BIRCHWOOD CAP
Mission opened to search for an ELT in the Birchwood area. Birchwood CAP dispatched a ground crew which located and silenced the signal in a parked aircraft at a private air field. The Birchwood CAP ground crew searched for 1.0 hour and claimed no expenses for this NON-DISTRESS mission.
